Minister McMurray has been a member of The Monumental Baptist Church for 41 years. She is an active member of the Minister Ministry, Evangelism and Missionary Ministry, Voices of Monumental, Gospel Chorus, Women's Ministry, and the Women's Choir Ministry. She was the Chairlady for Women's Day 2006 to 2009.
She is a graduate and honor student of Hudson County Community College where she majored in Early Childhood Education. She had also been inducted into the National Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa at Hudson County Community College. She is also a graduate and honor student of The United Bible Training School. She has completed studies in The Ministry of Reconciliation, General Bible 1&2, Evangelism, Hermeneutics, Old Testament, Biblical Psychology, Christian Education, Church History, Teaching Techniques and Bible Doctrine. She continues her studies and learning.
Minister Diana McMurray favorite scripture is Psalms 23. She loves to encourage others, love to praise, and to speak of God's word. She says, I am not here to boast about me, but here to boast about the goodness of My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Minister Deanna Anthony has been a member of Monumental Baptist Church for 11 years. She is an active member of the Minister Board Ministry and the President of Evangelism Ministry. She graduated from Eastern Bible Institute in Irvington, NJ, where she completed her studies in General Bible I & II, Teachers Training, Evangelism, and Homiletics.
Deanna's life goal is to spread the gospel to those that are perishing. She loves the Lord with all her heart and soul. Deanna says "She must be about her father's business, its no longer about her, and instead it's about Christ that lives within her". Her greatest goal is to travel to Africa. Her favorite scriptures are John 14:1 " Let not your heart be troubled." And Galatians 2:20 " I am crucified with Christ: never the less I live: yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith of the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me."
Minister Dorsey has been a member of Monumental Baptist Church for the past seventeen years and an active member of the Usher Ministry when he answered the call of Minister. He served faithfully in that capacity, but felt God tugging at his heart to progress in the ministry. As a truck driver for US Foods, Barry would encounter people from all walks of life and found himself always ministering to them. As Barry would so often say, "I'm winning souls for Christ. "Barry's favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. "
Minister LaShay Wilson has been a member of Monumental Baptist Church for 19 years. She was an active member of the Evangelism Ministry. LaShay graduated from Lincoln High School . She also graduated from New Jersey City University in 2003 with a Master's Degree where she completed her studies in Special Education. Her passions are family, friends and God.
Minister LaShay Wilson's life goal is to spread the gospel to those that are perishing. She loves the Lord with all her heart and soul. Her favorite scripture is Matthew 25:21; and she hopes that when she gets to heaven, she will hear these words from her Savior.

In 1994, The Spirit of the Lord guided her to The Monumental Baptist Church, rededicating her life to the Lord.
Gwendolyn answered the call to the Gospel June 14,2011 which was two days after Pentacost Sunday. She says "What a powerful super natural revelation that has changed my life forever".
Minister Mary K. Truesdale has been an active member of Monumental Baptist Church for 27 years. She has taught Sunday School and served as Chaplin. (sister Truesdale knows the "Power of Prayer"). She served in all positions of the P.T.A., (Pres., V.P Secy., Treasurer, Chaplin), and held various positions with the Voices of Monumental and Women's Chorus. She still sings faithfully with them now as well as the Combined Choirs when requested.
Minister Truesdale loves the Lord and shares His message whenever the Holy Spirit prompts her to "Tell God's Word." She proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ through her speaking engagements and any opportunity which avails itself as she interacts with the public. Minister Truesdale's philosophy is "With Christ, I can Do All Things! To God be the Glory" She now strives to complete her "BA" Born Again with Christ by doing his will as a minister of God's Word.
Minister Alex Watson is a man saved by grace; God's calling on his life is rooted in two of his favorite scriptures. "What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?" (Psalm 116:12) "I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. " (Psalm 116:13).
Minister Watson truly believes that "All things are possible through God who strengthens us. " God is allowing him to fulfill his dream by answering the call to ministry and spreading the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He sums up this experience by saying, "Without the Lord who is on my side, I would not be here today. I thank God for having me on his mind. To God be the Glory."
Valerie gave her life to Christ at Monumental Baptist Church and was baptized on her 12 th birthday. She served as a president of the Jr. Missionaries and Monumental Youth Fellowship Organization, and served as a member of the Angels of Praise and Jr. Usher ministries. She is now a praise dancer for the North Jersey District Baptist Association.
At the young age of 26, she was called to Preach God 's Gospel all over the world. Valerie plans to be obedient to God 's will, word, and doctrine while spreading God 's love and message to believers and non-believers. Her favorite Bible Scripture is Ecclesiastes 3:1 "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven. " In September 2014, she plans to pursue a second Masters in Divinity at New Brunswick Theological Seminary while fulfilling God 's calling on her life.
Minister Linda Bradley accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior in December of 1990. He religious training involved a four year certificate from Jamison Bible College where she was selected to be valedictorian, and Nyack College Seminary, whereas she received a Cum Laude Honor's Degree in Biblical Studies. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Divinity. Her expected graduation date is 2015
The Lord blessed Minister Bradley with the vision to establish the "Joyful Hands Deaf Ministry" in 2001. Its purpose is to bring inspirational Gospel Music accompanied by the usage of American Sign Language to the hearing local community audiences, with a particular focus on Deaf Community Awareness. The Joyful Hand mission is to spread the Word of the Lord through the speaking of their hands. This speaking hands ministry extended to churches located in Jersey City, Bayonne, Newark, East, West and South Orange, Irvington, Union, Harlem, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and the Bronx.
